Cage trap for the humane trapping of rats or similar sized pests.
The entrance is quickly sprung closed when the rodent takes the bait off the pressure plate, safely trapping it inside. The cage also acts as a multi-catch trap with a one way door at the opposite end of trap which allows more pests to be caught in the trap.
The trap is best placed adjacent to walls in areas of rodent activity.
Trap should be left with palatable food on the pressure plate to attract the rodents, and should be also be checked regularly and no longer than 12 hours between checks.
Once a rodent has been captured it is best to release it in a rural and unpopulated area at least a mile from your property.
