Our Story

Established in 2010, A1 Lawn is an independent grass seed merchant located in Carlisle, supplying high-quality lawn products and grass seed to customers across the UK. In 2020 our business was acquired by employee-owned Cumbrian business WCF and relocated to Scotland.

In 2023, the collective decision was made to relocate A1 Lawn, down to Orton Southgate, Peterborough — sharing a warehouse with our sister company ProGreen Weed Control. This reflected the product and customer overlap between our businesses and allowed us to better serve the expertise required across the main sectors.

Our modern despatch warehouse on the outskirts of Peterborough is also ideally located as a main UK transport hub. This facilitates prompt and efficient delivery to our customers and allows us to stock a wider range of products.
