Decis ProTech 1 L - Aphid & Caterpillar control

Excellent insecticide for control of aphids, caterpillars and many other pests. Decis Protech is a rapid and cost effective pyrethroid product with a low application rate to suit regular treatments on a range of biting, chewing and sucking insect pests in numerous agricultural and horticultural crops.

Active Ingredient: 15 g/L (1.50% w/w) deltamethrin

Dose Rate: (ornamentals) 120 ml in 100 L water or 12 ml per 10 l water

For Amenity vegetation which includes outdoor ornamentals, trees & shrubs - Decis Protech will control whitefly, scale insects, caterpillars, capsids, thrips, aphids and mealy bugs. Apply the product when the pest is first seen. For whitefly, thoroughly wet plants, especially the leaf under-surface and repeat as required.

DO NOT EXCEED MAXIMUM CONCENTRATION of 120 ml per 100 L water

Strains of some aphid species are resistant to many aphicides.
Where aphids, glasshouse whitefly, tobacco whitefly, pear suckers resistant to products containing pyrethroid insecticides occur Decis Protech is unlikely to give satisfactory control.
Repeat treatments are likely to result in lower levels of control.
Where repeat treatments are necessary use different active ingredients.

Resistance Management Strategy:

Total reliance on a single pesticide will speed up the development of resistance; pesticides of different chemical types or alternative control measures should be included in a planned programme. It is good practice to alternate insecticides with different modes of action in a recognised anti-resistance strategy. Decis Protech should always be used in alternation with other insecticides of a different mode of action where available.

Application Information:

Decis Protech should always be applied at the recommended rate of use and in sufficient water volume to achieve the required spray penetration into the crop and uniform coverage necessary for optimal pest control.

Shake well before use. Add the required quantity immediately at the beginning of filling the spray tank with water. Keep the spray agitation in action and add the required quantity of water. Continue agitation until spraying is completed. After spraying, thoroughly wash out the spray tank with a proprietary tank cleaner such as All Clear Extra or Tank & Equipment Cleaner.

Safety:

Suggested safety clothing - coveralls, faceshield & gloves when handling the concentrate (see Safety Clothing)
Very high temperatures, >35°C (>95°F) may reduce efficacy or persistence.
