This
is the first choice to be made when approaching grassing a new area
of garden or lawn. There are many high-quality turfs available on the
market, and whilst we would prefer you to use our seed, we will
discuss some advantages and disadvantages of using both Turf and
Grass Seed.
It is the easiest and quickest solution for smaller areas of lawn and ongoing repairs.
Grass seed comes in a diverse choice of seed mixes.
You can choose the grass that is specific to your requirememnts.
Grass seed takes better than turf does in more difficult growing conditions.
Any spare seed can be kept in storage and used to thicken and repair later.
It is the only cost-effective option for large areas.
Turf is less susceptible to birds, which freshly spread grass seed is.
